Professional Training & Development
We promote the professional development of counsellors, social workers, teachers, and educators through workshops, supervision, and the creation of teaching materials.
Workshops
We provide sexuality education training for professionals, equipping them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Our emphasis on multicultural sensitivity enables them to address the needs of diverse groups, including gender/sexual minorities.
Supervision
In individual supervision, we assist professionals in addressing challenges in sexuality education, enhancing their confidence and capabilities through discussion and reflection. In group supervision, we encourage peer learning and exchange of valuable experiences in practice.
Resource Development
We develop a range of educational materials related to sexuality education, including resource kits, booklets, and online resources, as practical tools for professionals.
Sexuality Education
Sex counselling is a specialized form of therapy where counsellors work with clients on issues such as sexual orientation, gender identity, expression, relationships, sexual health, sexual behavior, and mental health.
Talks and Exhibitions
We organize talks and exhibitions in schools and communities to increase public understanding of gender/sexual minorities. These events create opportunities for interaction, aiming to eliminate stereotypes and prejudices, and foster inclusion.
Expressive Arts
We incorporate expressive arts in sexuality education groups, creating a safe, non-judgmental space for participants to explore topics through art forms like painting, drawing, and poetry. This process enhances self-reflection, empowerment, and critical thinking.
Parent Education
We provide accurate information on diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions to parents, aiming to cultivate empathy and acceptance. This helps parents support their children and foster a safe, open space for discussions on sexuality and relationships.
Sexuality Counselling
Sexuality education refers to teaching about human sexuality, including physical, emotional, interpersonal, and mental health aspects. Topics include gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, and informed consent.
Sexual Orientation
Counsellors support clients in exploring and accepting their sexual orientation and navigating challenges in daily life, relationships, education, or work.
Gender Identity and Expression
Counsellors assist clients in understanding their gender identity and transition arrangements, supporting them in addressing challenges in daily life, relationships, education, or employment.
Intimate / Non-Monogamous Relationships
Counsellors help clients manage difficulties in intimate or non-monogamous relationships, including communication strategies, setting boundaries, jealousy, agreements, and consent.
Sexual Health
Gender/sexual minorities may have questions about sexual health, such as STI prevention and safe sex practices. They may also seek LGBTQ+ inclusive medical information. Counsellors provide accurate, affirming information on these topics.
Discrimination and Mental Health
Gender/sexual minorities may face discrimination, stigma, or rejection from family, friends, or society. Counsellors offer support and coping strategies and prioritize clients’ psychological well-being.
